Dell and AT&T announced their Android-powered Aero smartphone back in March, and now the device is available for purchase. The Aero, which is on Dell's website but is still missing from AT&T's, will set you back $99.99 with a two-year contract or $299.99 contract-free. The Dell Aero features Android 1.5 along with Dell UI enhancements, a 3.5-inch touchscreen at a resolution of 640x360, 2 GB of built-in memory with microSD expansion up to 32 GB, a 5 megapixel camera, and web browser that features Adobe's Flash Lite. Check out the full press release below.
It may have taken a while to finally get the Aero to market, but it's great to finally see Dell adding another device to AT&T's Android lineup. It may not tout a huge touchscreen like some other Android phones, but $99.99 is definitely a great price for an Android-powered smartphone, and $299.99 is even better if you prefer to avoid signing a contract. The Aero even features Flash Lite in its browser, which is a pretty great feature to have. So, how many of you are planning on picking up an Aero?
