We still haven't seen a CDMA version of the Samsung Galaxy S, but a recent rumor states that that'll change come August 21st. User Powrman811 over at Android Central has stated, "MY GO TO SPRINT PEOPLE told me that I can order my store inventory on August 16th and sell on the 21st." We've previously heard that the Epic would be launching on August 11th, which is tomorrow. Considering that that date is looking unlikely, let's file away August 21st as the new possible launch date for the next 4G phone.
With the DROID 2, BlackBerry Torch, Dell Streak, and possibly the Epic 4G, August is looking like a month jam-packed with smartphone goodness. I'm hoping that we will in fact see the Epic this month, if only because we need to see a CDMA Galaxy S device considering we've heard very little about Verizon's Fascinate. In the end, Sprint will need to push something out to compete with the DROID 2 and BlackBerry Torch, and I have a feeling that the Epic will do the job. Push out out soon, Sprint!
