If you've got some time to kill and an interest in Motorola's upcoming Droid 2, have I got some news for you. The device's full user guide has just been leaked to the good folks over at Droid-Life, and we've been able to gather some important details on the Droid 2 thanks to the leak. The is-it-Blur-or-something-else skin found on the DROID X will also be making an appearance here, which is pretty disappointing to DROID 1 owners and users who love vanilla Android. Second, we have the multitouch keyboard, another feature found on the DROID X, along with Swype pre-loaded. Finally, it looks like the Droid 2 will, in fact, come with Android 2.2. The search box seen in the user guide is similar to the one on 2.2, meaning the odds are good that Droid 2 customers will be getting a serving of Froyo with their purchase. If you're interested in the full user guide, you can download the PDF right here.
I don't know about you, dear readers, but I'm a little bummed that the Droid 2 is launching with Moto's skin on top of Android. Sure, some say it's an improvement over the MOTOBLUR skin, but I'd rather see no skin at all, like when the original DROID launch. So after all of this new information, who's going to pick up a Droid 2 when it launches, possibly next month?
