Planning on picking up a shiny new Samsung Galaxy S device on your carrier of choice, but afraid that you'll be stuck with Android 2.1? Fear not, reader! Samsung has confirmed that all of its Galaxy S phones will be getting the upgrade to Android 2.2 and will be compatible with Flash 10.1. Sprint has said that the wait for Froyo on its Epic 4G won't be long, but other than that there is absolutely zero release information.
It's definitely great that Samsung has confirmed the Android 2.2 update for its family of Galaxy S devices, but I hope that they're going to put as much focus on the updates as possible considering that Froyo is already in the wild. As long as we see them before the release of Gingerbread, everything should be ok. So, Galaxy S fans, which device will you be picking up?
