Apple is known for making their commercials a little more emotional and personal than some other companies, and their recent iPhone 4 commercial is no different. Showing off the new FaceTime feature of the iPhone 4, the commercial shows a father watching his baby crawl, two hearing impaired users, and grandparents talking with their granddaughter on her graduation day. The ad is the first commercial showing off the new iPhone 4 and is sure to tug at the heartstrings of its viewers. You can see the clip right here.
FaceTime is sure to be a big hit with consumers who have never used or maybe even heard of video chat on a mobile phone. Its ease of use, as well as the fact that its still one of the few mobile phones in the U.S. with video chat capabilities, should definitely help raise interest in the iPhone 4. While Apple was certainly not the first company to implement video chat on a mobile phone, some will think that they were because of FaceTime's ease of use and the fact that the iPhone 4 is most likely the first device they've seen with the capability.
