The folks over at modmyi.com have leaked an internal AT&T document showing that the white iPhone 4 will be available "later this summer." While a document like this could be faked, it looks like it's the real deal after German website macerkopf.de also reported that the white iPhone 4 will not be available at launch. This is disappointing news for customers planning on picking up the white device. Now they must choose between settling for a black iPhone 4 or waiting as everyone else gets a shiny new device before they do. If this rumor is true, it's surprising that Apple didn't mention this at their WWDC event when they unveiled the iPhone 4. Pre-orders for the iPhone 4 start tomorrow, so we'll all learn exactly what's going on in less than 24 hours.
