When arguing which mobile platform is superior, many believe that the iPhone's inability to play Flash content is a major drawback. However, it seems that Comex, the person responsible for the Spirit jailbreak for iPhones and iPads, has successfully gotten Flash to run on the iPhone. It's unknown whether this is a standalone app or if it could be integrated into Safari, but we do know that the hack is still a preliminary release, so there may still be bugs to work out. If Flash can be run smoothly, that would solve a problem that many users have with the device. Still, if there is a stable release of Flash on the iPhone, it's going to be a jailbreak-only app, meaning many users would never get the opportunity to try it out. It seems as though Apple will never allow Flash on the iPhone, so this hack could be your best bet for playing Flash games and embedded Flash video on your iDevice. Would you install this hack to enable Flash content on your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad?
