Another day, another Droid Xtreme leak. Today we've got some more photos showing off both the front and the back of the device. Around the back, we can see that the phone definitely resembles the original Motorola Droid. There is a dual-LED flash and if you squint, or if you have bad eyes like me and simply zoom in on the photo, you can see that it says "8 MP" and "HD video" on the camera. On the front of the device you can see that the Xtreme seems to be running a new version of Motoblur on top of what Droid Life says is Android 2.1. Finally, the source says that the Shadow codename that has been used is axed and that this is definitely the Xtreme. With a similar form factor, bigger screen, and no keyboard, the Xtreme has the potential to appeal to all of the Moto Droid owners that just couldn't get into the original's physical keypad. The new version of Motoblur also looks improved, bringing a more restrained look and feel to the skinned OS. It seems kind of strange that the device is running Android 2.1 instead of a version of Froyo, but that may change by the time this device is released, which will most likely happen in the next couple of months. What do you think of the Xtreme and Motoblur's fresh face?
