Though the design is getting a bit long in the tooth, it's about time that we saw the webOS-toting Palm Pre Plus land on AT&T's retail shelves. Originally spotted at CTIA in March, the device is nearly identical to its Verizon counterpart - save for the GSM radio in place of CDMA. No word just yet on whether the Pixi Plus will launch alongside its older brother (they were both shown off at CTIA), but I'm sure it can't be too far behind.
AT&T's March press release pegged the device at $149.99 with a new, two-year agreement. I'm no math scholar, but given that Verizon is selling them for $30 a pop (and free Mobile Hotspot, to boot), it would probably be in AT&T's best interest to lower the price at launch. At any rate, webOS partnered with Android, BlackBerry, and iPhone...nice to see AT&T get a little variety in their lineup. Anyone agree?
