Earlier in the week, Noah discovered some information pertaining to a potential LG Voyager successor - the VX11000. FCC information surfaced, and little more was known beyond that. The boys over at PhoneArena have obtained intel lending futher credence to the existence of the device, and according to their source, it will have a QWERTY slide keyboard instead of the typical clamshell form factor. Additionally, the phone will have a multi-touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, and support for up to 16GB microSD cards. It is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year.
Additionally, as we also reported a few days ago, the Nokia Intrigue 7205 will be arriving on Verizon, although sources now point to the end of March as the new launch date. This device is supposed to be quite environmentally friendly; in fact, it will offer an audible noise to let you know when charging is finished. Expect to see both pink and black color options at launch.
Finally, the second quarter will see the release of the Samsung U490 (apparently known as the "Trance"), which will replace the aging Samsung Juke. FCC documents are up, and it looks as if it will offer 1GB of internal memory with expansion options of up to 16GB. Look for it to hit the ground running in the second quarter of this year.
So, there you have it. Exciting new phones coming to Verizon Wireless! Let's hope some pictures come our way soon.
