Rumors have been going on for a while about an iPhone Nano coming out. Here's another one, this time from overseas.
According to unnamed sources, via French website Le Journal Du Geek, the iPhone Nano is set to launch this June by none other than Steve Jobs himself. (There's something about the French language that makes anything sound classy, no? Le Journal Du Geek sounds more hoity toity than The Geek Journal, that's fer sure.)

Reportedly, this tiny version will be limited to the size of the display region of the iPhone 3g, and the home key will be moved to the right side of the handset. There's no word on the proposed thickness of the device ? the Nanos have historically been slimmer versions of the original styles ? and this rendering shows no indication either.
But the French site predicts that the new iPhone Nano will have many of the same features as the 3G model (GPS, Wifi, 3G) and will come in a choice of 3 colors ? red, black or white.
If the iPhone Nano finally does come out, hopefully it will offer better reception than the current iPhone 3Gs, which have been found wanting by many people (including our own Noah Kravitz). I?m keeping my fingers crossed.
