So just back from a week's working vacation up in Oregon, I find this on my YouTube channel page:

Hey phonedog guy,I believe I saw you today on Hawthorne in Portland Oregon while I was driving, at least I think that was you. Message me back if it actually was you or i am going crazy lol.
Spotted on the street? Wow! No, jellydonut52, ur not crazy: I was there, on Hawthorne St. in Portand this past Saturday, checking out the shops, enjoying a Beer at the Baghdad, and having a great dinner with my family at 3 Doors Down Cafe. I spent a few days in Portland - my first time there, and I loved it - and a few days before that out on the coast in Seaside and the neighboring towns. Great trip. And special thanks to Kristen from T-Mobile for all of the great recommendations! Always ask the locals where to go ...
But on to the relevant news ...
First off I want to welcome Andrew to the PhoneDog family. Andrew sends way too many text messages, but that's a good thing for a phone blogger, right? He comes to us by way of Valencia, PA, and brings a great perspective on all things mobile to the site. Andrew's younger than me, he's funnier than me, and like I said, he sends way more texts each month than I do so he can add some much-needed insight on which phones hold up best under constant texting (he rocks an LG EnV2 right now). Check out his first two posts and get a taste of his witty way with words ... We're looking forward to much more from Andrew's blog, which nicely compliments Courtney and my ownh blogs, if I do say so myself.
And speaking of, uh, me ... I'm going to be taping a radio interview for The Electric Morning Show with Jack Hammer & Andre which is set to air on WBPM in Poughkeepsie, NY this coming Thursday. Andre found me by way of YouTube and was kind enough to invite me onto the show to talk tech. So if you're in the Hudson Valley be sure to tune in this coming Thursday morning (I'm originally an upstate NY kid myself). You can also check out WBPM's Internet stream or check back here - we'll be posting an mp3 of the interview sometime Friday or next week, assuming I don't botch the thing entirely.
