Alltel, America's largest network with coverage across the nation, today launched Axcess Game League, a free, community gaming application that enables players to seamlessly navigate between games, compete in a variety of tournaments, check their status and post high scores.
Games available at launch include dominoes, Sudoku, checkers, reversi and chess. Additional games will be added in the near future. The Axcess Game League application is free to download, and players can choose the games they want for $2.49 each per month.
Alltel customers interested in competing can take full advantage of Axcess Game League's tournament feature. Tournaments are offered as weekly, monthly and all-time high score competitions. Monthly tournaments begin each week, and the top 60 percent of competitors advance to the second week of competition. The top players will also receive virtual medals and trophies according to their rankings

Alltel Wireless also offers Anytime Plan Changes, which gives customers the flexibility to change their calling plans at any time, without extending their current contract; and Celltop, Alltel's patent-pending technology which offers customers an easier way to access, manage and organize a wide range of information already available on their phones
