Beau HD gets his hands on the high-end ZTE Nubia Z7 smartphone at CES 2015 in Las Vegas. The Nubia Z7 features a 5.5-inch 2560x1440 display, Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera sensor, and Android 4.4 KitKat. Would you use a ZTE-manufactured smartphone in the United States?
At CES 2015, the high end and premium ZTE Nubia Z7 was spotted and introduced to attendees of the event. Compared to the other devices launched at the event, the Nubia Z7 is one of the more premium models released.
The Nubia Z7 comes with a nice all-around size with its 5.5-inch display and a resolution of 1140 x 2560 pixels with QHD panel. Its build quality is made up of a premium aluminum frame and aluminum buttons, resulting to a sleek and nice design. On the back of the phone is a 13MP camera with flash. Its speaker port is situated on the bottom part of the device.
Like the other Chinese-manufactured devices seen at CES 2015, the Nubia Z7 did not have an app drawer. Instead, the apps are displayed on its home screen.
The phone is built with a Snapdragon 801 processor with 3 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, which may not be up to date. But for a phone manufacturer uncommon in the United States, the Nubia Z7 comes with pretty high end specs.
