The iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch LCD 1920x1080 display, dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8-megapixel camera sensor, and iOS 8.
Instead of comparing two devices side by side, it’s time to do something different with the iPhone 6 Plus and the Nexus 6. This time around, we’re discussing each phone’s features to determine why the Nexus 6 is better than the iPhone 6 Plus.
Reason #1: Resolution
With its 5.96-inch 2560x1440 AMOLED display, the Nexus 6 has a higher-resolution screen than the iPhone 6 Plus. It comes with a pixel density of 493 pixels per inch, whereas the iPhone 6 Plus only has 401 pixels per inch with its 1920x1080 LCD panel.

The Nexus 6 comes with a Motorola Turbo Charger powered by Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology and 15 watts of power. As a result, you can get up to 8 hours of use by plugging in your device for just 15 minutes. The iPhone 6 Plus doesn't have this feature and can't charge as fast as the Nexus 6.
Reasons #7 and 8: More RAM and a more powerful processor
The Nexus 6 comes with 3 GB of RAM, resulting to a buttery smooth and fluid use. It's capable of handling multitasking like a champ. Additionally, the Nexus 6 runs on one of the newest quad-core Snapdragon processors that's also responsible for enabling fast charging. To compare, the iPhone 6 Plus comes with just 1GB of RAM.
Reason #9: Higher resolution images
The Nexus 6 can capture higher resolution images thanks to its 13-megapixel camera sensor. To compare, the iPhone 6 Plus comes with an 8-megapixel camera sensor. Thanks to the higher resolution, you can zoom in on photos captured on the Nexus 6 while retaining their quality.
Reason #10: Capture higher quality video
The Nexus 6 can capture UHD 4K video, which is much higher quality than the iPhone 6 Plus's 1080p video capture. This means that videos taken on the iPhone 6 Plus are not as sharp when compared to videos captured with the Nexus 6, especially when viewed on an Ultra HD TV or monitor.
Reason #11: More ergonomic
The Nexus 6 has a curved back with tapered edges that fit into the curve of your hand. This means that you can get a more comfortable and sturdy grip on the big phone. Its sides are flat, giving you more space to grip the device and hold it with one hand. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 Plus has curved edges and a flat aluminum back. This means that the iPhone 6 Plus is less ergonomic and is more prone to slip out of your hand.
