There are quite a few 4G smartphones out there, and given the carrier rhetoric that usually surrounds the new technology, it can be challenging to decide which one to go with.  Fortunately, PhoneDog is here to help!

Aaron referees a dogfight battle between two hot 4G devices, the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide and Verizon's Samsung DROID Charge.  The myTouch 4G Slide offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch Super LCD, 8-megapixel camera that's supposedly "the most advanced camera on a smartphone," front-facing shooter, and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) with HTC's Sense 3.0 user interface.  The Charge sports a single-core 1 GHz Hummingbird processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, and Android 2.2 with TouchWiz 3.0.

There are pros and cons to both, but all in all, the spec sheets are awesome (after all, they're in our Top Smartphones list, which means they've done something right).  Which one offers the best blend of features and performance?  Part 1 of 2.
