Two of the best CES devices are out on the market, and they're ready to go head-to-head in a dogfight! Aaron referees the battle between the T-Mobile G2x and HTC ThunderBolt. Known internationally as the LG Optimus 2X, the T-Mobile G2x offers a 1 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core processor, 4-inch WVGA display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, front-facing shooter, a stock build of Android 2.2, and support for T-Mobile's 4G (HSPA+) network. The HTC ThunderBolt offers a single-core 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch display, 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, and support for Verizon's fast 4G LTE network.
Both devices are awesome, but only one can leave the ring as the winner. The T-Mobile G2x is a much faster device, but Verizon's 4G LTE network makes the ThunderBolt fly when it comes to data-related tasks. Which one will take home the gold? Part 1 of 2.
