Samsung has sprung into the fitness tracker market with the new Gear Fit. It’s a small, Nike FuelBand-like wearable from Samsung that runs Tizen, the mobile operating system that powers all of Samsung's 2014 Gear devices.
The Samsung Gear Fit has a very small footprint and weighs almost nothing. It sports a super bright, curved AMOLED display that shows all sorts of fitness information as well as notifications from your Samsung Galaxy device. The Fit is somewhat similar to the Gear 2, but due to its small size, it lacks any sort of home button. One positive feature of the Gear Fit is its changeable strap that allows the user to slap on a differently-colored band whenever he or she would like.
We’ll have much more on the Samsung Gear Fit and its good-looking self right here at PhoneDog, so stay tuned!
