I have to give Sprint credit where credit is due; they've been picking up some awesome Android handsets as of late. They're the first to the Galaxy S II party with the Samsung Epic 4G Touch. The Epic 4G Touch (or EpTouch, as I like to call it) offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core Exynos processor, 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capabilities, a front-facing camera, and Android 2.3 with the much-improved TouchWiz 4.0 UI. It's being thrown into the ring with the Motorola PHOTON 4G, another high-end device that offers a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD recording, and Android 2.3 with Motorola's UI. They're both available now for $199.99 at Sprint.
As always, both phones have strong feature sets that will appeal to different people, but this is a dogfight battle, so only one can win! Which Android phone will it be? Part 2 of 2.
