This is the brand new Moto Hint. This was announced right next to the Moto X and Moto G at the Motorola event last month. And while we didn’t do a video because this is not a phone. But we do have it in our hands and we’ll do a quick unboxing. It comes in a nice, clear plastic box—actually pretty big for the size of this thing because this is the smallest Bluetooth earbud in the world. Let’s go ahead and open this guy up.

Inside, we have this tiny little black dot; which is the brand new Moto Hint and beneath that we do have a charger which is actually a kind of a cool conductive way of charging this thing. It kind of fits inside a sweet little almost like a box or a lipstick kind of shotgun charging station that looks really cool. You just place the Moto Hint inside and that will charge your brand new Moto Hint. And beneath all that, you’ll find just your standard old manuals and all the literature that you’re never going to read about this Bluetooth headset.

And the really cool thing about this Bluetooth headset is it’s really meant to work with Moto Voice on any Android smartphone, especially the brand new Moto X and the Moto G. so this allows you to do Google Now commands and Moto Voice commands. It also lets you say answer or decline phone calls, it lets you dictate messages and lets you dictate a lot of things without having to touch your phone; which is the whole thing about being a hands-free experience. Connect this to your Moto 360 and you basically have the best of both worlds when it comes to having Google Now interaction in your Moto 360 and Moto Voice interaction on your Moto Hint.

So I know this is not really a sort of thing that would really be reviewed here on PhoneDog.com. I’m going to let you guys decide what you guys want to see of the Moto Hint. If you guys want to see some kind of demonstration to how it works or just see how well it works because this is a pricey little headset. At $150, it’s a lot of money for a Bluetooth headset and some people just don’t want to buy one because a Bluetooth headset has some kind of stereotype that people don’t want to have.
