After using the LG Optimus G Pro for six days, I can say that I like where LG is headed in 2013.  Purely from a hardware standpoint, the Optimus G Pro bests the Samsung Galaxy Note II, with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU and 5.5-inch 1080p HD display.  It performs incredibly well, and there are a number of areas where LG has stepped up to the plate and hit a homerun.  Connectivity is solid, the phone charges quickly, and it offers some neat features like a home button LED that lights up for certain notifications.

Where it falls behind is in the productivity department - the S Pen and TouchWiz bring some great benefits to the Note II and make the device an ultimate content creation machine.  While LG has improved tremendously in the user interface department, I'm still not seeing the level of multitasking or productivity that you can get from the software package on Samsung's phablet.  Ultimately, it's a battle between better hardware specifications and a more fleshed out, comprehensive user experience.
