Aaron reviews the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, a member of the Galaxy S 4 line of smartphones.  It packs a 1.9 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 5-inch 1080p HD display (LCD), 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD recording, 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage, 4G LTE, a 2,600 mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with TouchWiz.  It's available at AT&T for $199.99, putting it on par with the 16 GB Samsung Galaxy S 4.

Ultimately, it's a battle of what's most important to you.  The Galaxy S4 Active offers IP67 certification and a different design that many will appreciate, but it loses the 13-megapixel camera and some of the software features that come with the Galaxy S 4.  Is it worth the tradeoff?  Part 1 of 2.
