The new Motorola Droid Turbo is here! The Droid Turbo review is in the works but in the meantime, here is our unboxing and first impressions of this beast of a phone. Let’s start with headline stuff: 5.2-inch QuadHD display, 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 chip, 3GB of RAM and a 3,900mAh battery. Do we need to say more?

This is one of the most highly spec’d devices of the year, including the latest and greatest including the Snapdragon 805, Adreno 420 GPU, Android 4.4.4 KitKat — with an Android 5.0 Lollipop update coming soon — and a 3,900 mAh battery. All of that is wrapped in a Droid-branded device with Motorola build. And one of the biggest and most interesting features is the ballistic nylon version. All really strange but really cool all at the same time.
