BLU Products has been making a noticeable impact on the mobile world by releasing low-budget smartphones that compete with Huawei and Oppo. The best part of these devices is that they come unlocked and without a contract for a very low price. Just before CES, BLU announced the details about its brand new smartphone, the Life Pure, calling it a flagship device with a massive 5-inch 1080p display, 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. It’s a very spec-heavy device, but perhaps its best spec of all is its reasonably low price tag of $329 off-contract.
With such a low price, the BLU Life Pure does cut a couple of corners, but design is not one of them. It’s styled similarly to the iPhone 5, and while it doesn’t have the chamfered edges or beautiful materials of Apple's handset, its thin slate design is very appealing. The Life Pure is running a heavily-skinned version of Android 4.2.
