Aaron goes in-depth with the Apple iPhone 4S, the evolutionary upgrade from the iPhone 4 that debuted sixteen months ago.  While the design is virtually identical to its predecessor, there are quite a few improvements in the 4S such as a dual-core Apple A5 (800 MHz) processor, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, Siri for voice services, global roaming capabilities thanks to a SIM card slot in all models, and Apple's iOS 5 out of the box.  It retains the same 3.5-inch Retina display and metal/glass aesthetic.  It's available in 16, 32, and 64 GB flavors at AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

It's a nice upgrade and offers some nice features, but the wireless market has changed dramatically over the past sixteen months, and Android is closing the gap with several high-end models.  Are the upgrades in the 4S enough to lure new customers and keep existing iOS users put?  We'll figure it out.  Part 2 of 2.
