After months of waiting, the HTC One is finally coming to Verizon. The carrier announced it today via their Twitter page, and confirmed that the phone would be in stores on August 22nd. On top of the usual specs we know and love, the Verizon version will launch with Android 4.2.2. It will be available for $199.99 with a two-year agreement.
The HTC One is arguably the best Android handset of 2013 - it continues to win on both charts on PhoneDog's Official Smartphone Rankings - but the fact of the matter is the device is six months old, and other devices are on the horizon. Are you buying the Verizon HTC One, or are you holding out for the Moto X - or perhaps for another high-end smartphone? Let me know in the comments below!
