I've owned my Nexus 5 for a few weeks, and it has quickly become one of my favorite phones. Stock Android combined with Kit Kat, the latest version of Android, runs as smoothly as ever. The 5.0 inch display is very sharp and offers crisp text; however, colors do appear to be washed out.
Furthermore, the 8 Megapixel camera has received a new update but is still mediocre at best. The camera could definitely use some improvements. Also, there were initially a lot of complaints about the speakers; however, LG has since revised the Nexus 5 and has corrected the speaker issue. I haven't experienced any issues with my speakers, they are actually quite good. Call quality and reception have also been good for me. Battery life has also been decent for me as well. I charge the device at night and depending on my usage I still have battery remaining later that day.
Overall, I really like the Nexus 5! I am very fond of the fact that the phone is both CDMA and GSM, meaning I can run the phone on both of my carriers T-Mobile or Sprint and receive LTE. I also like the off contract starting price of $350. I believe this phone is a great buy and would definitely recommend it, especially if you do not want to extend your contract or be contract free.
This year Apple included great technologies that made the iPhone stand out as special. Design is beautiful complemented by great, colorful software with iOS 7, the App Store still has the best big name apps, media consumption is great, and it is a phone that does what is needed, thats all, no gimmicks. Display is great, an updated Retina display would be nice for the next model to keep up with the competition of high resolution smartphones like the HTC One and its high amount of pixels per inch. Call quality is very decent for it being an aluminum phone, but the one thing that absolutely needs fixing is battery. It needs a bigger battery and a larger screen. That is all. Other than that, it excels in everything.
Cute company and cute smartphones but my phone devices are defective. Eh its just a phone, but at the same time, you pay so much money for something to work, and when the phone crashes for now reason it makes you wonder....
Definitely different from what the photos seem like on the internet. The phone is quite a looker. Without feeling clunky and chunky, the phone feels incredible in the hand. The screen is also absolutely gorgeous. Yea you can argue it doesn't have top of the line processor, but android and HTC sense has made that a non-issue. The speed is great. I have had this phone for 3 months and the entertainment value + battery life makes everything worth it. I watch netflix on my phone everyday. The boomsound speakers are even louder than the HTCOne's. Incredible. Don't get tricked by crappy photos of this phone.
great phone! battery life is awesome. this is the first phone where the battery life last all day! It will take me quite a bit of time to learn all the many features on the note 3
I love my HTC ONE I have owned the previous versions of HTC as well. The design and feel of this is lovely.
Today we were at your North High Street location here in Columbus to get a new phone for our niece. We were served by JIMBO, Dave and Jason. They were all extremely knowledgeable and easy to understand. We had gotten our two original phones from Dave ,six months ago. Verizon rules. Howard D White, age 64.
Great phone overall, Blackberry's new operating system is awesome.
- The display quality is great but a little small in my opinion.
- Call quality is excellent and I have never had a call drop on this device, I also always seem to have a signal (something I've had problems with on other phones).
- The design/form factor is wonderful. The phone perfectly compliments Blackberry 10's gesture based UI and, while plasticky, feels very well made and sturdy.
- Apps - There are not many apps available for Blackberry 10, *however*, you can side load Android apps so this is really not an issue besides the rare app that doesn't work. The media apps included are wonderful, browser supports HTML media, and HDMI included is wonderful for hooking up to a larger screen.
Only bad thing is the battery life. With my daily low-moderate usage of checking Clash of Clans every five hours, a few texts and e-mails, maybe an hour of web browsing/social media total, creating calendar events and documents, and a call here and there I'm down to >30% by 10 P.M. Anyone that uses this phone all day and doesn't put it down for hours at a time like I do will kill the battery within 5-10 hours.
My phone was do last night and right then and there was really nothing I could do, but yall made it happen ,, I will have the money today or tommorow ,,, thanks guy !!! whoooo raww To america's #1 cell phone provider !!
Masha Allah v v nice phone i have ever used. battery life is awesome and sound and graphics quality is also awesome.
Design
Its awesome for all ppl big hands small hands . If u r worried about back keys u don't have to worry (knock on) is a very impressive gesture and very responsive overall design looks very gud......most ppl will think this its a galaxy s4 or note 2 but the classy back button changes the game so i give it 9/10
Performance
Superb any hi-end games works as soomth as u r playing some ps3 r x360 never lags at all the ram is more than enough to go lot of multitasking.....the three finger swipe is other words multiWindow function is awesome just slid and app is saved this the best thing by lg....
Overall performance i give 10/10
Battery life
This phone come with an incredible 3000MAH BATTERY i can easily use it for my whole day......playing games for about 3~4 it might drain battery but overall this phone has the best battery back so far in android device
So i give it 9/10
Verdict:-
This phone is monsters... simple in use (userfriendly),fast (Chipset Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800
CPU Quad-core 2.26 GHz Krait 400
GPU Adreno 330 ) makes it one of the fastests phone available and beautiful (the keys at back gives it a grt look and the separates from all Samsung devices, The round of the phone has silver lining wic gives a very classy look ) .....
If there was a place for sd card it would become the best ever but without tat also this phone is grt. It comes with 16gb and 32gb indian market and priced about 44k but u will for around 37-42k
Thank you
Basi
have to say, i rejected this phone for so long and didnt know what i was missing, i started out with a 5 and then baught the 5s and i am nothing but impressed over the performance as opposed to android.
I sold my Note 2 because it was just too big. I am a Blackberry fan but can't upgrade til the end of the year. I bought a used Blackberry bold 9930 off ebay. Delores helped me activate it over the phone she was terrific. I took it into the Sprint store in Medford, OR because I was having trouble with App world. The Rep tried to help but couldn't get it resolved, he sent me to the store across town that has a service tech. Gabe the technician was awesome he was able to resolve the issue and it works great, at no charge!. Sprint did the right thing by having a local tech available. My hours have been reduced at work so I struggled with my bill a few times. Sprint worked with me and for these reasons I will remain a loyal customer.
I have used it and i can asure you that it is fantastic
I have come to love everything about my phone except battery life its like it was purposely made this way so i would have to buy an accessory for it.
