This phone is mind blowingly advanced and fun to use!! The camera feature alone is sweet!! This phone is like a mini-laptop! I can do EVERYTHING on it.
Create personal movies! Take professional looking HI RES photos!! I've seen other phones in action and none of them come close to the samsung galaxy s3!
Este telefona se adapta a mis necesidades y mas! Ofrece un buen tamano y una muy buena imagen tambien es super rapido. Y es muy facil de usar :)
This phone has exceptional quality. Everything about it is great! It has the most amazing display imaginable, and a wide selection of apps & media. Its design is sleek and thin, and it has a good battery life. By far the best phone you could own.
I think apple did a great job at convincing people that specs do not matter that much and what matters most is the usability of the device in reality.
So lets start of with how and what I use my device for on a daily basis? (this might be the same with some of the users)
I am medical student in my final clinical years so I spend most of my time on the wards or in clinics. True that in the medical profession you are not allowed to use your phone infront of patients (professionalism and mannerism) but there are plenty of time between patients and ward rounds to use them! So the apps that I run through during working hours are CHROME, EVERNOTE, UPTODATE and ACROBAT READER.
Since I am on the run most of the time, I cannot carry textbooks or even reference books around for the most part. (I hope you can appreciate the thickness of medical textbooks) With acrobat reader, I have a list of more that 50 medical ebooks that I can carry while on the run! it is like my personal library in my pocket. The beautiful thing about acrobat is that for most books it helps you to section out the book in the form of titles and diseases making navigation even easier! If you try reading a book on a 4-inch smartphone (not trying to insult the iphone just stating the practicality that is all) you would spend your days endlessly pinching and zooming sometime even making you dizzy in the process. (believe me It happen to me once). Here the 5.5inch screen comes into its full glory. Without zooming i can just be able to read the words that i need and making it easier for me to navigate in the text. This is especially true with management algorithms. The s-pen come in very handily here too as you are able to more accurately high light and place notes on the pdf file.
I only use Evernote to help me recall and memorize things. For example if I find that I can't remember the causes of hyercalcemia, I'll write Chimpanzees (a mnemonic) on the title and the causes in the contents. This is particularly helpful if you can use their widgets on the homescreen. I don't particularly like to use Evernote to take notes but after the S-pen that has changed. For example I can be browsing the web and say i found an amazing diagram I could trace the edges with the s-pen, cut it and share it Evernote and make changes to it that can be synced on my pc. And I didn't even think that i could be using it that often. (I do want to use samsung's personal note software but I still do love the cross-platform syncing ability of Evernote)
UPTODATE is an app used by people in the medical profession. it cost USD 400-500/year to subscribe but then again the S-pen and the huge screen makes reading, copying down notes and sharing information easier.
I run these few apps simultaneously throughout the day and if you count they just match the number of core that I need (not sure whether this applies to how the phone distributes it processing power). I could only last half a day with my old samsung galaxy s2. But with the 3100 battery I was able to run the full course of the day with 40 percent still remaining.
Finally this phone brings multitasking into a whole new level. Imagine a dual screen simultaneous running apps. It was on the galaxy tab 10.1 now it is in the note 2 and I am grateful for it. Unfortunately the ability does not extend to other apps that I use on a frequent basis. but when it does it think this is a feature that I will be truly looking forwards to.
In a short summary few thing came down to me when choosing a smartphone that would stick around the next one and a half to two years. (1) Battery life, (2) Screen size, (3) precision (S-pen), (4) multitasking. I hope you found this sort of a more personal review useful.
Nothing bad to say about this phone.....it just work how I wanted to , when I wanted too
I can't say the rest of these reviews are real but I have been a no contract customer for over 5 years now and have not had any problems with the company or phones had sprint but couldn't afford them so I am glad to be out of their contract both myself and my son have the LG optimus elite and aside from normal battery issues will keep Virgin mobile calls are not dropped sound is normal as any other phone um I would recommend them for many reasons
I Like this phone better than the Galaxy S III because of Sense 4, iv'e always liked Sense better then touchwiz because of the the design and the way it just works, and the lock screen is one of my favorites and the home screen which you can change the design of, overall its just the bomb ! The iPhone 5 just SUCKS but people like it cause its from Apple
If you like to share more and more with your friends through your smart phone, well this lets you share it in more than just facebook and twitter. if you're media hog like me, the big beautiful screen is perfect for that. I also love the fact that i can convert videos into mp3s from youtube without needing to connect my phone to computer ever. this phone + Android gives more freedom than any OS has ever in the past. I enjoy using this phone alot because it gets all things done for me.
The last couple years I have been flip flopping between all the different platforms. I started with a couple Blackberries, and then last year when the 4S came out I decided to give it a shot. Then the iPhone 5 came out, and I had an upgrade on my line. So I had to make a decision. Ultimately, I was disappointed, and the Galaxy S3 went on sale for free on a contract. I pulled the trigger and I couldn't be happier. I thought it would be too big, no. It fits great in my hand. The screen is absolutely beautiful. The camera is spectacular. LTE is amazing coming from terrible 3G speeds on my 4S. Battery life is only slightly worse than my 4S but I can still make it through a whole day if I want to. This is the best phone you can currently get. And with the Jelly Bean update right around the corner it's only bound to get better..
I like it because of the sense! I also like it because of the support from htc and because im a fan of htc primarily
