HTC One X is a beast. The screen quality is the best out there and the design of the phone is top notch (in my opinion) It looks amazing! It does stutter from time to time and has a few other minor issues such as the low fps camera but I'm pretty sure when this device gets jelly bean it will be much improved. I highly recommend this beast!
The Galaxy nexus is a great phone, 4.65 inch display, android 4.1.1, dual core 1.2 ghz TIOMP processor 1gb of ram, which are all great specs just short of the current top of the line phones. The speed and app support and software support is amazing, the only problem isthe battery which can easily be solved by the OEM 2100 mha batter or a Sedio OEM 4000 mha battery, the ints nothing short of stellar
I've been using it for a few days only, but I can already say that this device is great !
I love the form-factor, even though it's sometimes a bit hard to take into hands, and I fear it might fall.
Apart of that, the battery life is one of the most impressive point of this smartphone, which allows me to make it through a big day, or even two regular days (and that's really more than I expect on nowadays smartphones). And the screen that accompanies it is just gorgeous ! Watching videos, reading pdfs, books, newspapers on it is more than enjoyable, and I don't feel the need for a tablet with my Note 2.
However, I'm not a big fan of TouchWizz, even though I've got to admit that it's really well integrated, particularly with the stylus (I'm used to taking quick notes on my notepad, now, I don't feel the need for it anymore either !).
I'm really impressed by the device for now, and would consider keeping it for quite a few months, if nothing stunning comes out during this time =) (Yes, I'm swapping smartphones often, so there's that)
Best smartphone on the market yet IMO, just go for it ;)
display id great, very clear. call quality, not really that good. battery life easily drains out design is excellent. apps are also great
This phone is amazing. You can take a picture and use your video camera at the same time
its an aw-some smart phone and i will buy it next weak
Pros:
1. Vivid, High contrast, High colour saturation HD Display
2. Best Browsing experience on a phone
3. Best video experience on a phone
4. Excellent app support
5. S-Pen functionality induces creativity (My son loves this)
6. Calls are loud and clear, even when signal strength is low.
Cons:
1. One handed operation causes phone to fall OR causes accidental touch inputs.
2. OS updates slow (Hopefully Samsung improves this)
3. Battery life with HSPA+ leaves a lot to be desired.
I just got the iPhone 5 a couple of days ago and wow. I can't put it down! I had the Nexus S 4G before this and had all the updates up to Jelly Bean and I couldn't stand the phone. But the iPhone is a million times better. The display is vivid and text is insanely crisp. The sheer thinness and lightweight feeling of the phone is great! I have the new iPad and a MBP so adding this to my collection just seals the deal. If you are invested in iTunes and other Apple products the only way to go is the iPhone 5. Plus it has an extremely sleek design and iOS 6 runs mint on it. The speaker at the bottom is loud and the earpiece is great as well. The camera is also top-notch in my opinion. The only reason why battery life got a 4/5 is because of devices like the Droid RAZR MAXX, but I still got a solid 12 hours out of it with average use I guess. A couple hours of listening to music, internet usage, a couple of calls, texting like crazy, and being in a place for 3 hours with poor signal (because of Sprint). Oh! Another great thing is the Lightning port. It may suck if you had a bunch of accessories, which I did not obviously this being my first iPhone, it is reversible and that is such a small thing but it makes you happy when you're in the dark trying to plug it in! There are a ton of things you could say about this phone, but what you really need to do is get into the store and try it out for yourself and see if YOU like it! PhoneDog's reviews are another great source of reference.
This is the best smartphone ever.... The S-Pen feature is awesome...
Incredible screen (5.5 I), Great battery life (with 3100 mah), amazing processor (exynos 1.6 ghz and 2gb ram), 16,32 or 64 GB of flash memory (with up to 64 GB Sd card expansion), latest Android 4.1.1 with latest Touchwiz. Improved Spen (stylus). Sbeam, real multitasking (screen split) and much more in a thin and pocket-able phablet device.
I actually still havent had a chance to own the note2. But, just the fact that this is actually the improvement from the last galaxy note (which I owned for several months now), I know this is a really great phone.
I ? note 2
