The good: Survives the hardest bumps, the highest leaps. The roughest roads and might look like something the garbage man gave you but keeps on talkin'!!
The bad: Not a lot of extras on this old phone. Stupid ring tones and the antenna breaks off easy on my 3rd one.
Summary: I thought one night that it would be fun to tumble down a flight of cement stairs while talking on the phone. Well to the amazement of my friend on the other line the first thing out of my mouth was, hey I didn't drop my phone and it still works! It has a few blemishes (beauty is only skin deep after all) and worked great for when I had to ask for someone to help me across the street to my car! So with a broken ankle my Kyocera saved the day. (this isn't one of the times I broke the antenna that's a story for another day)
The good: Excellent phone with a lot of features.
Camera takes decent pics.
Ability to add a memory card enhances your capabilities, and no worries.

The bad: Cheap Looking & Very Plasticky
Normal SD cards will not fit, advise to get it from Nokia.
The center navigating button is tricky to operate.
Speaker can be a little louder.
Summary: Nokia is and has always made good and reliable phones. This phone also belongs to the same class with a lot of good and handy features.
The good: clarity, ease of use, SMS compatible, polyphonic ringtone compatible
The bad: picture quality, flat keys, button placement
Summary: For everyday use, this phone has the features that are most in demand. The sound quality is good, text messaging is fairly easy to use, and the camera can be a lifesaver. However, there are a few quirks that are annoying. I often find upon taking the phone from my purse that the camera is on because of the placement of a button outside the housing. I would not want to use the camera for important photos because the picture quality is not great. I do also wish that I could set the phone to vibrate at one of the intermediate volume settings. The size is fine for my needs, although I know many people prefer a smaller phone. It has also held up very well despite being dropped a few times.
The good: No more dropped calls, service in areas that are rural for most other carriers and inclusive local and long distance!
The bad: None found to date!! I love it, love it, love it!!
Summary: This is the easiest review I have ever had to do! I have just been waiting for someone to ask me about my cell service! EVERYONE needs to switch to Cingular!!
Could the service be any better? Not just the customer service at the time that I got dewired up but the phone service itself! I do a lot of traveling for work and have used Nextel, Verizon, Cellular One and a few others that have since gone belly up and Cingular is the best hands down!! I have had my Motorola Rzr now for nearly a year and have not experienced one dropped call!
I ALWAYS have service and I think the best way to relate this is to tell you a little story...
I was in Colorado (outside of Denver) when I had decided to visit a girlfriend in the mountain ski village of Winter Park. It was Memorial Day weekend, it was dark already and I was proceeding through the mountain pass at the Continental Divide- Over 10,000 ft and in a valley. While coming through the pass, the weather changed drastically and went from 80 degrees below to 32 degrees where I was. I started to get hit with heavy rain which proceeded to turn into a blinding blizzard! There were cars pulled over everywhere but I could not see where I was as there are no street lights and it was pitch black in white out conditions! I had no idea where I was as I was unfamiliar with the area.
(Funny thing that maps are only useful when you know where you are!)
I was scared to go forward and move on as I had no idea how much further I had to travel and I was about to hit some very steep downslope grades. Do I go back? Do I stop and wait it out? Do I go on? Well, it didn't take long to decide. I called my family back in IL and spoke to them - no problems getting out and calling over 1000 miles away in the middle of the Rockies in a blizzard! I was amazed and extremely relieved to say the least! Well, you know the rest! My family advised that I was probably at the top and that I should move on before it got worse. As I went down, the snow would dissipate to snow and it would be fine. The satellite weather showed nothing but a concentrated storm so I carried on! I lived through the ordeal and got instructions to keep going as the downgrades signaled I was at the top of the pass and it was all downhill from there! I left the rest of the stopped people in the snow at the top and carried on making it to my girlfriend's a little late but no worse for wear!
I LOVE my Cingular and if my phone can work there (and Hawaii by the way) it will work anywhere! It is dependable and priced reasonably and I don't ever get killed with overages thanks to rollover minutes! Cingular is my friend for life!!!
The good: nice size, stays in holder on belt clip
The bad: low ring volume, have to hit "contact" then scroll everytime you call/connect with someone
Summary: I would only rate this phone as "okay, at best" You have to go to the contact button then scroll down everytime you connect with someone - then you have to leave your phone open to talk to them. If you close the phone, you can't keep talking until they call you back. Also if you wait more than 15-20 seconds between responses, it clears it out and you have to hit contact then scroll down to get back to the person you were talking to or go menue, call record then find the person that way. Big waste of time and frustrating. Also you have to turn the phone to different angles to get a clear view of the display
The good: easy bill pay
convenience
The bad: My cell phone died & I bought a refurbished one exactly like the one I had & I have been dissappointed in it as it does not have all the extras my original one had.
Summary: I have had very good service, few dropped calls, problems with bill have been resolved promptly, and assistance has been easy to obtain. Sales person was very knowledgeable & helpful & wait time in their store is always minimal.
I have been with Verizon Wireless for almost five years. The service is great. I use my phone for everything. The apartments that I live in have a problem with their phone lines and so I use my cell phone as a replacement of my landline phone. I almost never have a dropped call and even when we had a slight earthquake a while back my cell phone went straight through when all others were having problems. I highly recommend this service and hope you enjoy it as I do. Thankyou.
The good: Stylish, easy to use, not too small, clear, good battery life
The bad: car charger is touchy, doesn't always plug in well, short cord, can't talk and drive at the same time very well.
Summary: Finally after 4 years I upgraded my phone, I chose this one, I found it easy to use, not so small you felt like you were talking into nothing, great range even with my service, easy to program, I like the flip idea, covers the buttons so your phone just doesn't call someone from your purse
The good: Slick, compact and easy to use
The bad: No Bluetooth
Summary: I love my Sanyo MM-8300 cell phone. It has a lot of bells and whistle functions. It looks very cool. The camera function is easy to use. The text message
function is also easy to use. I highly recommend
this phone
The good: very durable, easy to use, well lite
The bad: battery doesnt last long, constantly recharging
Summary: The phone is nice and lightweight, battery life though is horrible. Use it for about an hour and my phone is dead. When on the phone for an extended period of time the phone itself gets warm
The good: Nice phones
The bad: Reception Sucks!!!
Summary: My former carrier was great. Now with Sprint, every call breaks and drops. Not very happy w/ service.
The good: Easy to use, all the main features without all the extras. It is just a good phone, I have had several other phones and have not been as impressed...
The bad: It is hard to get accesories for this phone unless you pay a lot more, most of the additional accesories (the case for example) are not universal, you must go to your carrier to get any extras.
Summary: For the price of the this cell phone you can not go wrong. If you are looking for a phone your grandma or mother can learn to use this would be that phone. Just be sure to be willing to spend a little more on things such as cases!
The good: They have the widest coverage and the quality of the sevice is most of the time great. Way better than all the other carriers.
The bad: I get so many dropped calls or their service is fuzzy and doesn't carry to well across coastal areas.
Summary: Verizon Wireless is really expensive but worth the money. What i do hate are the amounts of dropped calls I get!
The good: AWESOME customer service. Very little dropped calls. competitive prices when you buy a new phone. BEST minutes for the price.
The bad: Cost of roaming internationally
Summary: T-Mobile is the best carrier I have ever had. They are very friendly when you call and you can tell they care about their customers.
The good: No contract, service and signal are excellent. Minute cost is low if you purchase the higher minute count, no hidden fees, many current phone styles and models to choose from.
The bad: If you are constantly on your cellphone, then prepaid is not the way to go, as it can eat up your minutes fairly quickly.
Summary: I have had a Tracfone phone for over six years. I update to a newer phone, port my phone number over, and have never had a problem getting a signal. I pay one charge for all minutes, including roaming and long distance, and I have no hidden fees (connection fee, usage fee, nothing).. everything, even taxes, is included. They have a multitude of phones to choose from, with graphics, wallpapers, ringtones, the works. I wouldn't change for the world.
The good: It's very compact, you hardly know you have it on you. It's not dull looking by no means. Comes in very handy!!
The bad: could be a little bit louder
Summary: I have had this phone for at least 1 year. It's small and compact. I think it is stylish looking. The cell phone I had before this one wasn't a flip phone. Being that it is a flip phone makes it very convenient.
The good: Intuitive menus and design
The bad: Bulky, outside screen does not work sometimes, needs better battery life
Summary: Used this phone for a while now and mostly had a good experience. One time, the phones screen just stopped working for several days. I was able to receive phone calls but could not make outgoing ones. Very odd, do not know if this is just my phone or a malfuction common to this model.
The good: Free incoming calls
The bad: none
Summary: I love my service with Nextel. The "free incoming calls" feature means I can always answer my phone. I don't have to worry about using up my minutes. I still had an issue with minute usage and the customer service rep gave me an even better deal. Call and negotiate!!
The good: I like that i have very few places where i can not get service. I live in a very rural area and another company i had their service would not reach here. I have had wonderful customer service any time I have had to call them . Thanks a bunch.
The bad: none really
Summary: The service i have received has been excellent . I have tried other companies and they always had too many areas where i could not use the phone. This service has very few dropped calls or no service areas.
The good: I can call people
The bad: Very bad reception, buttons started messing up soon after I bought it.
Summary: Well, if you need a cheap phone to make calls with, this is it. It does not have very good reception though, and like I said, the phone buttons mess up quickly. You dial 0 and get your phone book instead!
