The good: Great signal.
The bad: The addition of the Razr was terrible. The software for the razr is the worst.
Summary: The signal is unmatched. I want and use a phone to talk and maybe text, simple as that. I don't need to listen to music, search the net, etc. Best signal around hands down.
The good: GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AT RETAIL CENTERS AND RESPONSIVE ON LINE PERSONEL
The bad: CONSTANTLY DROPPING CALLS THROUGHOUT DALLAS FT. WORTH METROPLEX AND ROCKWALL COUNTY
Summary: I'VE BEEN WITH ATT AND CINGULAR FOR 14 YEARS. I JUST PURCHASED A LG CU500(JAN. 07)CELL PHONE. I AM CONSTANTLY DROPPING CALLS THROUGHOUT ENTIRE METRO AREA. CINGULAR REPLACED PHONE WITH SAME, ASSUMING THAT PHONE WAS DEFECTIVE...IT CAN'T BE THE PHONE, IT HAS TO BE A TECHINICAL PROBLEM WITH THEIR CELLULAR SYSTEM.

THERE MUST BE A REASON CINGULAR IS ADVERTISING THE FEWEST DROPPED CALLS, SO MANY PEOPLE ARE CALLING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT LOSING SIGNAL AND THREATENING TO GO ANOTHER PROVIDER.

FEWEST DROPPED MEANS THAT, THEY DO DROP CALLS...THEIR CLEVER COME BACK IS, IF YOU GO TO A COMPETITOR IT WILL BE WORSE.

THIS IS DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AT ITS BEST!
The good: slim, lightwieght, easy to use, does everything you would want a normal phone to do plus more!!!
The bad: picture quality could be less blury
Summary: Motorola L6 is perfect for anyone who wants a fairly good mobile but not top of the range. It has bluetooth, camera, video camera and plenty or memory (you can get more memory if needed). I would recommend this phone to anyone!
The good: Sleek Phone
The bad: Keys are too sensitive and I do not have the option of changing the sensitivity level with Rogers as Fido users have! sooooo annoying!
95% of the times I try to access my voicmail it says my password is incorrect and I need to punch in my password numerous times (max 3X per call) then I need to call back and repeat password until finally at some point it allows me access! On screen it shows correct code this is due to sensitivity level of keys!!!! OMG sooo annoying!

Summary: I Haven't tried all the features yet so can't comment much more than I already have... Overall experience is not satisfactory!
The good: It is very cute and has useful services such as VCast and you can make movies.
The bad: Unless you have a cover on the front, it is hard to flip open.
Summary: I really recommend this cell phone because of it's cuteness and usefulness.
The good: Looks great! Slim, sleek, attractive.

The bad: I am on my 3rd handset in 2 months and my son has to replace his new handset the day after he received it. All for different reasons, couldn't hear the ring tone, no external display on one, corrupted external display on the other. This 3rd one looks good... we shall see.
Summary: I wish I had read more reviews on this phone - looks aside, I am not pleased with it. I have lost all my photos and ring tones and it isn't what I wanted.
The good: live tv and radio, free software, free email access, free roaming, free incoming plans.
The bad: not much. sprints service just seems to get better for me.
Summary: i have been with cingular and verizon and sprint is the best by far. better prices, better plans and more access to things like live tv and radio.
roaming seems to fill in any gaps just fine. web access works while roaming. telenav works good with sprint.
The good: Good reception, internet is fast.
The bad: to much just to keep active.
Summary: Ok i bought prepaid inpulse service with the phone and they started charging me 99 cents a day just to use thier network. It was too much. A 15$ phone card lasted only half a month. Go with tracfone, they are the only network that doesn't charge daily.
The good: Everything
The bad: Screen retains oils
Summary: Great phone, takes a day or so to get used to the small buttons but otherwise everything is great. The screen needs to be cleaned often.
The good: They fixed almost everything they did wrong the first time (Cingular 8125).
The bad: Why no little rubberized strips on the back, like the 8125? I loved that, because I could set the phone on the dash of the car with the charger and it would (mostly) not go anywhere.
Summary: This is the best single device I've ever owned. If you can use a Windows-based PC, you can use the features on this phone. The keyboard is a huge improvement over my previous phones (Audiovox SMT 5600, Cingular 8125); they rearranged the number and symbol keys into a much easier, more natural format. The keyboard is much easier to use than the Treo or Blackberry keyboard, so if you're going to do a lot of data entry, this is the one.

I used to drag my laptop (with all its peripherals) through the nations airports and hotel rooms; no longer. When on a quick business trip, I just carry the 8525. I can log onto the internet (at 3G speed), go to my company's website, download or enter data, and get my work done while waiting for a flight---and then just put it back on my belt. Battery life is excellent (one day of hard use with no recharge will run you all the way down; by hard use I mean near-constant phone calls). 2 Gig card means I can carry some music to drown out the screaming infant or loud conversation in the next row on the plane, without having to drag my IPOD.

I was in a customer's office and he needed to see a particular document; instead of trying to call someone at the office hoping to (a) find someone and (b) get them to fax it, I merely pulled it up on our company website using my 8525; the customer was able to see a PDF of the actual document on the spot. Needless to say, he was impressed; he called everybody in his office over to watch me "do it again". :-)

Cons: email can be tricky to set up, and some bluetooth headsets work better than others with it. One battery-saving technique, "Turn off all running programs", is relatively "hidden"--it's a Microsoft thing, not a phone thing. If you use the stylus a lot as a mouse (as I did on my 8125), you can expect about a year of life on your screen before it begins to have dead spots. Fortunately, the 8525 has the wheel with which to scroll (that's where I wore my old one out, scrolling with the stylus). Also, the reason I have a new 8525 is that I dropped the old 8125, which shattered into a million pieces. Don't drop it.

All in all, if you're a business professional, especially one who travels, this is by far the best thing on the market.

The good: By far the best service
The bad: None
Summary: I have switch from Sprint to Cingular because I used to drop calls all of the time. Cingular its better than Sprint, but I was dropping too many calls and in my line of work I can't afford to drop calls. I've switch to Verizon Wireless over 2 years now, and I have to admit they are the best company in every way possible.
The good: Good Camera, Great Organizer, Great Functions, Voice Recognization Great!
The bad: Not as professional as others.
Summary: This little phone is a real head turner. Its nice little keyboard makes writing text messages a breeze. This phone is great for teens looking to keep up on socializing with others, and keeping a schedule. The navigation function is ahead of its time. A truely great buy for anyone who needs an "all-in-one" phone!
The good: Large roaming coverage-great set of phones-web access plans are better then most-tons of plans to choose from-updated coverage maps-helpful care personal-loyalty discount for loyal customers-free incoming plans are prefect!-free software downloads offers from time to time-modem software right on the site-limited problems with dropped calls.
The bad: If i had to list something i would most likely go with some customer care personal could use a a bit more training .
Summary: I love Sprint! They have treated me very well over the years . After i spent a year with them i was giving a loyalty discount of 10% . Which might not sound like much but with a bill on adverage of 100 a month 10 dollars is a nice discount for no extra work on my part . I have the Sprint free incoming 800 with nights starting at night and the roaming option for free . It's a great plan for me seeing as most of my calls are incoming . I did have Nextel for a while before the two mergered but Sprint works better for me . I don't use the walki talki thing.

I have been looking into the modem card plans . At my company we use the Sprint modem card plans for the dispatch workers . We were using Tmobiles edge cards but they are annoying to set up and have holes in coverage everwhere . Before that we were using a satellite modem company (Which i shouldn't name). There speeds were very slow though.

I would suggest Sprint over Nextel though . But that is just me . For the price of plans, phones, features Sprint has been the best option for me.
The good: very clear call quality, fast internet, havent dropped a call yet.
The bad: i wish they offered a sidekick like phone.
Summary: i was with verizon for about a year maybe a bit longer. their service in south florida is good but not great. i can't get a signal in my building unless it is night time. most of my family has sprint so i know they are dependable. i was going to switch to them but i found out that one of their mvno's is humane wireless. which donates to the humane society so i joined them. since they use sprints network, i can comment on the performance. calls sound great, as close to a landline that i have found. data speeds are fast. i have been using humane wireless for a little over a month now have have not dropped a call. service seems to be strong everywhere i go.
i'm much happier now then before with verizon :)
The good: Overall good service. Few dropped calls.
The bad: Slick billing and marketing to move former AT&T customers to new service plans.
Summary: Received mailing stating that former AT&T customers on old network will be charged an extra $4.99 for staying on the old network as of September, 2006.
The good: Network, reliable, cheap in price, has many roaming partners at no extra charge, great customer service, great phones, it works great internationally
The bad: Individual plans do not come with free Mobile2mobile
Summary: T-Mobile is the best, every year their network keeps getting better and better. I have been with them since the voicestream days, they will help you out in whatever you need and the network is very realible.
The good: i love thos phone.i am deffinitly a typer and it is great for that.i love the speakers.and the slim design.
The bad: none.
Summary: pretty much after getting this phone, i do not even want to think about getting another phone.
i love everything about it. its slim design. the colors, and especially the megapixel on the camera is great. i find soemthing new or better about it everyday. i would deffinitly recomment this phone to anyone who likes to type, send emails, or just make a lot of phone calls and who takes a lot of pictures.
The good: Great customer service people, extensive coverage
very nice equipment

The bad: none
Summary: I have had Verizon for almost 10 years and have never had a problem with them. Their customer service people are great and I like the phones. I will never use another phone carrier.
The good: PDA data access $15, phone tethering, Power Visions content available off of EV-DO network, Free Sprint Mobile e-mail client, download any of the 500,000 Java applications made for Java, download custom made Java App's for Sprint for FREE, free voice and data roaming onto Verizon/Alltel/US Cellular/ect, can transfer DRM media onto phones, can transfer custom made movies onto phone free of charge, Phones are NOT Lock-Down like other carriers, free nights starting at 7PM, nights even starting at 6
The bad: Nothing if you UNDERSTAND how to read user manuals, forums and call customer support in a POLITE MANNER.
Summary: I am so sick of hearing people bash Sprint. The problems listed on this site and else where can be corrected so easily. There is Sprintusers, Howard Forums, Phonescoop, ect where customer can read and ask for help. They can call customer care and be polite to the rep. If that rep is not helping, then hangup and call back. I have been with Sprint for almost 4 years now. And I have learned all that I need to in order to get what I pay for every month. If you use Sprint, then you have so many more features and services available it is not even funny. But no one speaks of these. People just complain about every little problem they run into.
Look at the Pros I wrote in. Those are all available to you! If you get poor service in your friends house, then set your phone to Roam-Only and use Verizon's and Alltel's voice and data roaming just like you would with Sprint (IT IS FREE TO SPRINT CUSTOMERS). You can even use Sprint's streaming content on Verizon's CDMA2000 network, something they disabled for their own customers!
If your having a problem with coverage, call Sprint and ask for a PRL roaming update. If you have a data issue, goto a forum and ask for help. Call a Sprint rep, go into a store. If you want to check your e-mail, then download a Free e-mail client. If you want to view HTML, then download Opera Mini for free. If you want to transfer free movies, music, ringtones, wallpapers to your phone, then buy a data cable or use an on line unloader. All of this info is on any forum.
So if you like being forced to download content from your current carrier. If you like be forced to pay extra for e-mail. If you like spending $40 a month to use our PDA. Then go with another carrier. But if you are a techie who wants to use Everything included in your phone and service, then stick with Sprint. But stop complaining because you can't figure out how to do something.
The good: durable
very user friendly
original battery lasted 3 years
The bad: black and white only
not a camera phone
Summary: I used this phone for nearly four years before it would not charge. it was very easy to understand and program. it also survived many falls, drops and throws by my young daughter without changing the quality of the screen or proformance of the unit. it is text message capable and internet connection capable. after it would no longer hold a charge, i replaced it with a LG VX3400, and while that one is a color, it is not as user friendly and i had a very hard time adjusting to the difference. buttons and features, such as speakerphone, were much harder to locate on the newer phone. i prefered the motorola many times over. and believe it have been a very reliable phone and very easy to use.
