The good: Responsive Touch Screen
Great Keyboard Inside
Both Displays are Beautiful to Look At
Headphone Jack and Music Capabilities
Great Batter Life so Far
The bad: A Little Big
The space bar between the B and V keys takes some getting used to
Summary: I got this phone the day after it was released and so far I've had no problems with it. The front screen is very easy to use and the software on it is visually appealing and it runs very smoothly. In short the phone does its job. Its not a blackberry, but for somebody looking to make calls and text, its great. I couldn't be happier with it.
The good: qwerty keyboard, keypad, pretty good messaging,d-pad,pretty good camera and speaker
The bad: no touch screen, flat keyboard and pad,no flash camera
Summary: the phone itself is pretty good for me,but for others there may be better. I can honestly say that if i compared it to the LG xenon,a phone i also like a lot,the matrix would win.
The good: It has a huge screen, loud ringer, and its not tiny like most feature phones now days, but without being to big.
The bad: So far I haven't found anything to complain about, but I wish the pic. caller id was full screen instead of really tiny, and it is weird that the ringer starts quite and then gets loud, but that is just me nit picking.
Summary: I bought this phone yesterday, so I am not going to claim it is the best in the world, but so far I am impressed. I love the size, it is about like holding an iPod when closed, and the screen looks great. There hasn't been any freezing like my previous phone(VE20) which was replaced because it froze for nearly a week and never unfroze, and then replaced again (by this phone) because I walked into a desk and the glass front completely shattered, along with both screens). The internal speaker is great, when I first played a song, everyone thought the music was coming from my laptop. I'm still learning all the features, but my favorites so far are: the bubbles on the home screen (I have weather info right there, which is great in Texas because it is nice to know when a huge storm or 100 degree weather is coming); the camera, which is pretty good for a 2mp on a feature phone; and the keyboard, which is very easy to become used to even with huge thumbs.
I would recommend this phone to people who text a lot (obviously) or to people who want something other than a ridiculously thin flip phone, but don't need all the features and high bill that come with a smartphone.
The good: ok so the samsung gravity is a really great phone i mean its awesome
The bad: the only bad things i can think about is the music speaker and how u can click out of your music and still lisen to it you cant do that with this phine and the battery i mean its ok
Summary: the samsung gravity lime is a all around good phone its great everyone says it has a bad battery but i mean think about it this phone is a texting phone and if you do texting like i do i mean u should with this phone unless theirs no reason to have the phone but this is a texting phone which uses alot if battery and then the music it takes some of the batery but what phone that dosent have these features dosent have a battery that isnt awesome its like very good
The good: Music player does mp3's with micro sd. pictures look good on computer. txting on the keyboard is fast and fun but takes awhile to learn. really nice quality speaker. turns off less than my shuttle did
The bad: I couldnt get the bluetooth to connect to my old shuttle. No video!!!!!! support at all. battery lasts like 14 hours max on a day i use it alot. the side volume controls are laggy and sometimes dont recognize im pushing them. ringtones on the phone suck lol but are better than my shuttles
Summary: I love my phone but im very easy to please and understand technology. If i had my choice i mite have gone back to my last shuttle but i sold it to my friend for alot of money and this had just come out and i wanted to try it. txting took 2 days to get used to but i love the qwerty keyboard. i txt a little slower with this phone than i did with my shuttle but qwerty keyboards are so fun.
The good: touchscreen,qwerty,3g,
The bad: bulky
Summary: alright i know that the phone was recalled but now its back and truly i would take it over my matrix i just got out of ,y matrix contract and the quick fire say wat u want is a great phone and really good for kids not for a buissness but for simple use
The good: Attractive design, strong speakerphone, good screen
The bad: Not comfortable entering numbers or text on keypad; inconsistent ringer/vibe/light settings; glossy, soft surface scratches easily, shows scratches; MMS/email messages sometimes go missing; hard to tell keys by touch;
Summary: This phone looks very good, at least at first, but has some flawed software design.
***
The case is sleek with a futuristic look about it. The shape of it is comfortable in the hand while it is closed, but less so when holding the phone to enter numbers, text, or navigate menus. The display is fairly large with good color, and visible in most conditions. There is a LED display on the front, which shows the time, Caller ID, or signal icons, with a few options. There is a LED "lightpipe" running down the center, which lights up when a call or message comes in, and pulses while the phone is charging.
***
The camera is adequate for MMS snapshots or Caller ID shots, but not worth going into detail over.
***
Settings for ringtones work for Caller ID and SMS ID, including groups, but other sound settings are confusing and limited to builtin sounds and/or nothing. Combinations of sounds and vibration are even more confusing and frustrating.
***
The keypad is a molded rubbery panel, with raised bars between "keys" which click under finger presses. It only has a phone-type pad, not a QWERTY keyboard (I don't know what phone the other review is of, but it's not this one.) It's easy to hit the wrong key without realizing it, and there are no icons to remind the user which parts of the central ring control which functions. The upper keys, central ring, and center button are used inconsistently in different applications, and it's hard to remember what does and doesn't work for what function.
***
Text messaging is frustrating. It takes several keys to get to send a message unless in reply to an incoming message, and receiving messages can involve several keys as well.
***
Navigating messages is a chore. When messages arrive, opening the phone reveals a message informing you that messages have arrived, offering the choice of opening or ignoring them. When one message comes, it is opened directly; when more than one arrive, the inbox is opened. You can't go directly from one message to another; you have to go "back" to the Inbox, unless one message arrives, which means "Back" takes you back to the main screen, where you have to get to the Inbox to see messages.
***
Sometimes closing the phone puts you back at the main screen when you open the phone; sometimes the phone keeps the same screen you were at when you closed the phone.
***
Ringtones can be assigned from saved MMS sounds, but other functions (including opening/closing the phone) can only be assigned a preselected list of built-in sounds.
***
Schedules and alarms can only be set when the phone has a digital signal, which can be very frustrating in areas with incomplete coverage.
***
Overall, the phone is adequate, but frustrating when its potential seems to have been poorly implemented by bad software design decisions.
The good: Friendly Customer Service!
Strong service!
No droped calls!
Awesome phones!
The bad: none that i can think of!
Summary: I have never had a problem with at&t when it comes down to my cell phone carrier. Ive been with them for 10 years now, and have had nothing but good things to say for them. I love theyre phones, and theyre customer service is as friendly as can be. theyre so helpful!
The good: good for texting good volume battery life lots of memory durable
The bad: speaker bulky and heavy freezes the keys get stuck ALOT
Summary: This phone has been really good im 11 i gotwhen i was 10. BUt i do alot of texting and textibg is a breez. this is a very good phone.
The good: Their customer service is excellent. They will work with you until your question/issue is resolved.
Great value--service, price
Product range equal to that of other providers
The bad: This is not a con, but stick with the company-owned T-Mobile stores, not the multi-carrier cell phone stores.
Summary: I'm not sure who the other reviewers are writing about--I've never gotten a non-English speaker that I can recall in the past 9 years, no matter which department I've talked with.

There ARE a few spots in my area that have sketchy connections, but they are pretty clearly marked on their area coverage maps. Do I NEED coverage 100% of the time driving through a pineapple field? Mm, no. But most times I DO have coverage there too even.

I'm just glad we (in the US) don't have the phone charges they have in Canada. =O

The good: Large (beautiful resolution) external and internal displays. Touch screen adequately responsive, & accurate. Call reception, volume, & clarity are good. Image & video quality are excellent. Features & tools are superrrb. Keyboard well-spaced.
The bad: Glitch with "beautify" photo editing tool makes phone restart. A bit heavy. Battery life could be better. No "clear entry field" option. Only 2 display themes. Slight text lag. Sometimes internal screen "blacks out" & requires prompting to re-appear.
Summary: I wanted to make sure I actually got used to this phone so that I could write an educated, experienced review. I've had this phone for about a week, and I have never been so pleased with a cellphone.

So where do I even begin? Bare in mind that my previous phone was an EnV. Fancy little gadgets and knick-knacks were just things that OTHER people had on their phones. Not me. So I'm probably impressed with things that most people are already used to - forgive me. I honestly shunned touch screens before this phone. The actual reason I wanted this phone in the first place was for the animated wallpaper - the night sky one equipped with twinkling, and shooting stars, trees that sway in the wind, and fireflies. The exterior is nice - the "chrome" is attractive. I've read complaints about the texture at the bottom of the phone on the front where the buttons are, and that it holds fingerprints - honestly, i don't notice it. besides, with a case, you don't have to worry about it. I do wish they had made this phone in a couple more colors. I liked the blue buttons on the Env3. Anyway, let's get to the juicy details. The touch screen is great. I find myself constantly playing with the little "curtain" which unveils the screen. It's very entertaining for those easily amused. I like that you can keep this little "curtain" down and still view the date and time. The transparency and "glow" when this curtain is down is nice. The curtain unveils a BEAUTIFUL touch screen. The shortcuts at the bottom of the screen are nice. One of the best things about this screen is that (aside from the "locked" shortcuts at the bottom) you can move any widgets anywhere on the screen. The MEMO widget is GREAT. You can make a little note, and then place it right on your screen so you see it every time you unveil your front screen. It's just like a little sticky note. Very convenient. You can also move the time and date icon to wherever you want on the screen. The DRAWING tool is fantastic. Extremely similar to the iPhone's. I also like how the notepad tool displays your note on a lined paper background. It's just very fancy. The functionality of the touch screen is excellent. It's adequately accurate and responsive, and the vibration as you touch is nice. It's nice that you can adjust how strong, and how long that vibration is.
I'm a huge texter, so that was one of my priorities with this phone. I love being able to open the phone to use the keyboard, but to be honest, I probably use the front screen almost as much. I like to use the regular keypad and use T9. It's also nice to be able to use a keyboard on the front if wanted, just by flipping the phone on it's side. I love the layout of the messages. It's nice to display messages by contact, it's like looking at an Instant Message conversation. The photo ID that accompanies each message is just awesome. The internal keyboard itself is very nicely spaced out, and the keys have a nice give.
The good: Would recommend it 2 a friend. Nice design and great multi-tasker, many short cuts, like the key board, and very good speaker, camera is desent
The bad: screen not that great, keys very close.
Summary: I love this phone but it needs just a lil work I would really recommend this to any techno Geek like my self.
The good: Style, Easy to use, graphics, Sound quality
The bad: sometimes its hard to get good coverage
Summary: I had this cell for around 6 months and I love it! its very helpful and handy when needed. Great camera! I recently lost this phone but I'm getting an identical 1 just like this cell because I love the phone itself along with the service (Virgin Mobile). Overall good phone :)
The good: 3.2 MP Camera w/ flash (awesome capabilities in photo editing software)
QWERTY keyboard
3.5 mm head phone jack
Ability to play music and use the other features on the phone simultaneously.
Great picture and I love the touch screen
Supports 16 GB Micro SDHC
IM support is great and mobile email is fantastic
Web Browser is very capable with only minor bugs
Album display and touch screen interface with media center is of IPhone quality
The bad: Poor Battery Life!!! (brand new and sometimes doesn't make it through the day)
Flash washes out pictures (but software does help)
Lack of Apps and only a few games (no free apps)
Software bugs that cause the touch screen to not come back on unless the phone is restarted
Accelerometer lags behind and it can be 4 to 5 seconds before the screen orients
Software bugs that cause the phone to restart in the middle of photo editing....aggravating
Does not support 32 GB Micro SDHC
Summary: This phone has a lot of potential but I caution you to wait for LG to work out the bugs, or you will be stuck like me. I hope LG reads some of these postings and fixes software glitches.
The good: Good screen,Great multitaskin button :)
and nice size/wieght
The bad: small keys(but easy to get used to
Summary: its a nice little device that has the best of both worlds, touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The camera is really nice to start with and the flash makes it even better. Although everytime i drop it a new scratch occurs, but thats hardly the phones problem (more like my slippery hands ,;)) i would recomend this phone as a cheap alternative to something like the samsung impression
The good: out standing service they will not let you hang up with solving the issue and you can under stand them!
The bad: well i have found a very few places were calls are dropped compared to sprint my previous carrier
Summary: i had sprint for 3 years worst customer service ever. could not under stand them over the phone most the time, for i thank their call center is in India. when trying to call sprint it would take an average of 30 min some times longer. T-Mobile maybe 3-5 min. when trying to get my phone fixed i would have to go to there store wait in line for 45 min drop it off come back in an hour wait in line for another 45 min for them to tell me they would have to order a refurbished one come back in a week. i would wait in line for 45 min get my phone and out of the 9 times i had to do this 5 times i would find that there would be a issue with the phone in about 2 hours of having it. T-Mobile dose it all on the phone no mater were your at and no lines no hassle and every phone i got back worked and in some times less then a week. long story short T-Mobile rocks hard core
The good: Qwerty keyboard slide phone, lots of features, Clear camera and video, and easy use etc.
The bad: Some of the keys are unevenly lite but its the way it was assembled. not a big deal.
Summary: I really love this phone its nice and sleek small and thin over the samsung impression this phone to me is alot smaller. The battery life is good. Great phone I would recommend to anyone.
The good: gets service where other phones don't
The bad: customer service takes forever
Summary: I get service in northern states, like deep in the woods where other phones don't. It can be frustrating when something happens and you don't have service. There's only three places I don't get service, and those are down in big ravines. Customer service could be more efficient, but overall I would recommend NET10 to others
This is my second lg banter within abut 2 weeks. Bad problems with it shutting off while replying to texts also bad problems with ring tone still playing after you open new text. Like the keyboard and camera downloaded lots of free ring tones phone wont download free wallpapers though.
The good: Very great deals on plans and service.
Gets all the new phones mostly before any other carrier in the united states
The bad: Slow customer service, but is improvement based on the previouse years.
Summary: This is my 6th year with sprint, and i have to say they have come a very long way. From bad customer service sprint is now a very decent customer friendly company, and i think it has alot to do with Dan Hesse. The best thing i love about sprint is its plans, and services offered at a really low price compared to hideous prices from other companies such as att. Sprint is one of the first companies in the U.S to get new cool gadgets, and that another thing i love about the company.
