One day after Android 6.0 started hitting Sony’s Xperia Z5 family of phones, Sony has posted a brief video highlighting some of the features included in the update.
Sony’s video touches on features that are built in to Android 6.0 as well as ones that are added by Sony. For example, the improved app permissions come with Marshmallow, while Sony has added easier in-app access to stickers in its Xperia Messaging app. Other highlighted features include a refreshed camera UI and better text editing.
The global members of the Xperia Z5 family aren’t the only Sony devices getting Android 6.0 this week, as it’s also started hitting the Z3+ and Z4 Tablet. Sony plans to push Marshmallow to several more Xperia devices, too, like the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z2, Xperia M5, and Xperia C4. The full list of Sony devices expected to get Android 6.0 update can be found here.
