Looks like Google is learning a couple of new tricks today, because following the launch of its cocktail recipe search results feature, Google is rolling out car insurance comparisons.

Google Compare will show you insurance quotes from multiple companies to help you get the best deal. You simply plug in your information and you’ll get up to 14 prices. You can also contact each insurance provider listed, and Google will automatically generate a number for you using Google Voice so that your real phone number won’t be revealed to the providers.

Google’s car insurance comparison tool is currently only available in California, but El Goog says that it plans to add other states in the future. Car insurance is something that many, many people need, and this tool could come in handy for a lot of people by aggregating insurance pricing and making it super easy to save some cash.
