J.D. Power has released its wireless network quality performance report, which aims to determine how the major U.S. carriers perform in different regions of the country.

Unsurprisingly, Verizon was the big winner in J.D. Power’s report, coming out on top in all six regions and getting five “power circles” in them all as well. Meanwhile, AT&T came in second in the six regions, earning three or four “power circles.” T-Mobile finished third in five of the six regions with two or three “power circles,” and Sprint claimed third place in the North Central region and fourth in all others, claiming a consistent two “power circle” rating.

J.D. Power determines its rankings by observing network performance and how many dropped calls, missing text messages, slow downloads, email errors, and more that a carrier has. Interestingly, the report notes that overall wireless network quality worsened from 2014 to 2015, with consumers experiencing more problems with data and texting.

While Verizon is one of the pricier carriers in the U.S., that cost comes with a network that’s generally regarded as being pretty solid, and today’s J.D. Power report reinforces that. As for T-Mobile and Sprint, both carriers tout that they’ve been working to improve their networks and expand their LTE coverage, but it looks like they’ve still got some work to do.
