Sony jumped into the Android Wear fray late last year with the launch of the SmartWatch 3, which featured a rubberized band. Fast-forward a few months later and the folks at Sony have a more premium smartwatch ready.

A new stainless steel version of the SmartWatch 3 was announced today by Sony. The steel SmartWatch 3 features the same specs as the regular version, which includes a 1.6-inch 320x320 LCD screen and IP68-rated body. However, it comes with a new stainless steel band. The stainless steel SmartWatch 3 will launch in February.

Sony says that it plans to offer a SmartWatch 3 holder as well. This will allow the SmartWatch owners to use any standard 24mm watch strap with the SmartWatch 3. The SmartWatch 3 holder will launch in the “early part of 2015.”

Sony also announced some news for its Lifelog app for Android. Sony says that users can access Lifelog online at lifelog.sonymobile.com on any device, from your smartphone to your TV. Additionally, Sony is working with lifestyle and health apps like IFTTT, Habit Monster, and Withings to help you learn more about your body and your exercises through the Lifelog app.

Sony also announced that it’s been with working several brands and designers on new accessories for its SWR10 wearable device. Sony has collaborated with Jack Vartanian, ALTEWAISOME, Ted Baker, and ROXY.

Finally, Sony teased the Smart B-Trainer prototype, a device that’s an all-in-one headset that’s designed for runners. It can provide voice coaching, play music, suggest a soundtrack, and more. It’s also waterproof, meaning that it’ll survive your sweat.

Sony’s CES 2015 lineup is heavy on wearables. Considering how much the wearables space has blown up lately, it’s no surprise to see Sony making that move, and it’s good to see Sony following in the footsteps of the Pebble Steel by offering a premium version of its SmartWatch 3. Now anyone in the market for a smartwatch has one more higher-end wearable to choose from.
