It turns out that the Grand X Max+ isn’t the only new Android-powered goodie that ZTE’s got up its sleeve for CES 2015.
ZTE just announced the Spro 2, it’s new Android smart projector. The Spro 2 has a pretty impressive spec sheet for a projector, boasting a 5-inch 1280x820 LCD screen, 2.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 16GB of storage, microSD support for cards up to 2TB of RAM, 2GB of RAM, a 6300mAh battery, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Spro 2’s also the ability blast out images ranging from 5 inches to 120 inches in size, with an auto focus of 720p. It’s also worth noting that the Spro 2’s can connect to other devices over HDMI, Bluetooth, and USB 3.0. And because it’s a 4G LTE hotspot as well, it can help up to 8 other devices connect to a cellular network.
The ZTE Spro 2 looks like quite an upgrade over the original Spro, boasting beefy specs that best some mid-range to high-end Android smartphones. If you’d like to slip the Spro 2 into your pocket — which is possible thanks to its 134 x 131 x 31mm dimensions — you’ll be glad to know that you’ll get the opportunity to do just that in Q1 2015 when it launches with a tier one U.S. carrier.
