While AT&T and Sprint have already confirmed that their versions of the HTC One will be available starting April 19, T-Mobile has been a bit more vague in its One availability announcements, saying only that the device will be available "later this spring." There's some good news today for T-Mobile customers interested in the HTC One, though, as "later this spring" may not be far off.
Best Buy is currently accepting pre-orders for the T-Mobile version of the HTC One on its website, and the retailer lists the handset's release date as "Friday, April 19, 2013." Best Buy has confirmed to Engadget that that's the date that it plans to begin shipping T-Mobile's One out to buyers. As far as pricing goes, Best Buy is asking $249.99 with a two-year contract (remember that while T-Mobile itself no longer deals in contracts, retailers that sell its products do).
Obviously the launch date of the T-Mobile HTC One isn't official until Big Magenta says it is, but it's certainly possible that April 19 will end up being the date that the T-Mobile One does indeed arrive. As I mentioned before, both the AT&T and Sprint models will be launching on April 19, and HTC recently revealed that that's also the date that the unlocked HTC One Developer Edition will ship out to buyers. Now we just have to wait for T-Mobile to come clean with the official date. If April 19 is really it, then an announcement shouldn't be far off.
