After starring in some leaks earlier this year, the likely-to-be-Sprint-bound LG LS970 is back in the news today thanks to an appearance at the Federal Communications Commission. The LS970, which may go by the name "Eclipse 4G LTE" once it launches, has made its way through the good ol' FCC, complete with Sprint-friendly CDMA, EV-DO and LTE (Band 25) support in tow. The filing also shows that the LS970's got an NFC antenna packed inside of it.
When it comes to the LS970's other specs, previous reports have claimed that we should expect a 4.67-inch display, quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 2,100mAh battery and a 13-megapixel camera. Not too shabby, right? The bad news is that the LS970 may still be a bit of a ways out, as a Bluetooth SIG listing claimed that it'll be arriving around the end of October. That's certainly a bit of a wait, but hey, at least Sprint customers that'll be eligible for an upgrade around that time may have a new high-end option to consider.
