Been wondering exactly what makes Android 4.1 Jelly Bean tick? Google introduced us to a number of its new features at I/O last month, including Project Butter and Google Now. However, tonight the company has satiated our thirst for knowledge by posting the full Android 4.1 changelog. Included in the list are Google Now and several Project Butter references, as well as things like new 7-inch tablet layouts for the Calendar, Currents and People apps, the ability to enter Safe Mode by long pressing the Power Off option in the power menu and support for USB audio docks, which Google says will be shipping later this year.

It's no surprise to see that the full Jelly Bean changelog is a big one considering that this update was so important that Google felt it necessitated an entirely new dessert. But while the list of tweaks is somewhat lengthy, it's still interesting to take a look at it to see all of the improvements that Google made in Android 4.1. Currently the only people that've officially gotten to see these enhancements in action are owners of the Nexus 7 and HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus, but Google has said that the other Galaxy Nexus models, Nexus S and Motorola XOOM are up next for Android 4.1.
