Up until now, Sprint's Samsung Galaxy S II has been going by the name "Galaxy Within" as per an accessory leak from back in May. However, it turns out that that may not actually be the Sprint Galaxy S II's actual name when it finally hits the market, at least not if a new report from BGR is correct. According to the site, Sprint's Galaxy S II variant will be dubbed the "Samsung Epic Touch 4G" and will launch sometime in September. BGR also claims that the the Samsung Conquer 4G and BlackBerry Curve 9350 (Sedona) this month, possibly on August 21st.
Last weekend we saw a Sprint document corroborate the Conquer 4G's rumored August 21st launch, although that same doc alleges that the new Curve won't be released until September 9th. As for the Epic Touch 4G name, well, it's definitely something I could see Sprint doing since the OG Epic was a Galaxy S variant. That said, I'm sure folks care a lot more about the device's possible September arrival. We've yet to hear official word from Sprint or Samsung on the matter of a release date, but it definitely feels like we're getting close. So what do you all think of the Sprint GSII's possible "Epic Touch 4G" moniker? Do you like it better than "Galaxy Within?"
