Nokia is making a big announcement tomorrow at CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore, and the device you're looking at up above just might be what the Finnish firm will be showing off at the event. According to the folks at Pocketnow, this handset is the Nokia N9, a MeeGo-powered smartphone that'll feature a full touchscreen and pink, blue, or black color schemes. Unfortunately, other details on the N9, like availability and spec information, is still up in the air.
Obviously this device is a tad different than the N9 that we originally saw leak way back in August of last year, dropping the original's silver paint job and physical QWERTY keyboard. It's not yet clear when, or if, the QWERTY-packin' handset previously known as the N9 will see the light of day, although Pocketnow thinks that it'll eventually be released as the Nokia N950. Based on the little bit of information we've got on this new N9, what do you all make of the device?
UPDATE: Engadget just posted real life photos of this device, which they refer to as Lankku or the N9-01. Purported specs for the handset include MeeGo Harmattan, 540x960 resolution, an 8-megapixel camera, and a body that's a tad thicker than the iPhone 4. Check out one of the IRL photos below.
