Good news for those of you lucky enough to get a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 at Google I/O: your limited edition tablet is about to get a little more special. Our friends at Google just pinged us to share the news that the Android 3.1 Honeycomb update is now available for the I/O Galaxy Tab 10.1. In order to get the update onto your device, you'll need to head into your Apps, hit Settings, then About tablet, then go into Software update, and then select Update. You can find the same update instructions along with step-by-step photos right here.
Although it's still kind of a bummer that not everyone will be able to snag the Google I/O edition Tab 10.1 and its fancy, Android-covered backing, it's good to see Google rolling out the latest and greatest version of Honeycomb to the folks that did get one. If you're an I/O Tab 10.1 owner, be sure to let us know how the update's working for you in the comments below. Just try not to gloat too much, ok?
