Apple has steadily been releasing betas of iOS 4.3 since the middle of last month, and now a report claims that the golden master version is ready to go. According to a source speaking with BGR, Apple has finalized the GM version of iOS 4.3, which sports the build number 8F190.
Although it doesn't sound like those awesome four and five-finger gestures we heard about will make it into the consumer version of 4.3, there will be other new features that do, like Personal Hotspot and the ability to use the iPad's mute switch as an orientation lock switch once again. With iOS 4.3 nearing completion and an iPad-focused event on March 2nd, it seems likely that Apple will be pushing out the next version of their mobile OS some time within the next week or so.
