When HP/Palm announced the Pre 2 yesterday, they stated that the new device would be launching in the U.S. on Verizon and in an unlocked, UMTS model. It looks like non-developer GSM customers may get an opportunity to snag a Pre 2, as well. After digging through the source code of the Canadian version of the Pre 2 web page, a sentence was spotted that said that the Pre 2 would be available "on Verizon Wireless and AT&T network." We shouldn't take this as official confirmation of an ATT Pre 2 just yet, but things are certainly looking good. You can check out the code yourself right here:

</a></li-->
Considering that AT&T released a Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus just like Verizon, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Pre 2 land on both carriers, too. It's just strange that, if AT&T is indeed launching the Pre 2, HP/Palm didn't announce it like they did with Verizon's model. With a rumored launch date of November 11th for the Verizon Pre 2, hopefully we'll be hearing more about this possible AT&T Pre 2 around the same date.
