Though the image (courtesy of PreCentral) is photoshopped, an AT&T-branded Palm Pixi may become a reality soon. Like several devices seen in the wild, an AT&T-branded Pixi was spotted on the Caltrain in San Francisco. If that was me, I would have gone crazy and snapped a few pictures of it, prior to running off of the train like a madman. Darn those pesky shutter noises (in this instance).
PreCentral makes an important point - carrier branding is typically done at the end of the process, so it's possible we could see the device in the coming months. Since there's no actual picture to accompany it, my gut instinct is to take it with a grain of salt. That being said, the potential of AT&T picking up a webOS device is a good one. With webOS and Android (at some point) on the nation's second largest wireless carrier, the OS circle will be complete.
