If battery life is an important factor for you when you're buying a new smartphone, you're going to want to keep your eye out for this upcoming Samsung device.
Entries from certification databases show that Samsung is working on a phone with a 6800mAh battery. A 3C listing has shown the Galaxy M41 with that beefy battery, and a photo of the battery itself was spotted on the Safety Korea website by Root My Galaxy (via GSMArena).
Renders that claim to show the Galaxy M41 surfaced earlier this year. The phone is expected to have a 6.5-inch display with hole-punch, a triple rear camera system, and a rear fingerprint reader. Now it sounds like it'll have a 6800mAh battery, too.
That size of battery is absolutely massive for a phone. Normally we'd expect to see a 6800mAh battery inside a small tablet, with most big battery phones coming in at around 5000mAh. Because it's a member of Samsung's budget Galaxy M series, the rest of this Galaxy M41 may not be super high-end, but folks who prioritize battery life over everything else should keep an eye out for this device.
