It's official: The OnePlus Nord is just two weeks away.
OnePlus confirmed today that the Nord will be officially revealed on July 21. The company is planning to announce its new phone using "the world's first AR smartphone launch". The event will kick off at 10:00 am ET/7:00 am PT.
Once the big day rolls around, you'll be able to take part in the OnePlus Nord's augmented reality launch using apps on Android and iOS.
With this AR event, OnePlus is hoping to give everyone a sort of real-life launch event while everyone is staying home. Rather than travel to a physical event, you can use your current phone and AR to get a feel for what the new OnePlus Nord will look and feel like in your hand.
In other OnePlus Nord news, the new device will reportedly come equipped with a quad rear camera array. A report from Android Central says that the Nord will have a 48MP main camera as well as an 8MP wide angle cam, 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP portrait sensor.
We've previously heard that the Nord will also have two front cameras — a 32MP main cam and 8MP wide angle camera — meaning it could launch with a total of six cameras.
