OnePlus recently teased that it and McLaren are making an announcement on December 11, and today we may have gotten more info on what the two companies have planned.
A special McLaren Edition of the OnePlus 6T is in the works with 10GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, according to a new report from MySmartPrice. There's no word on how much the device might cost, but the top-end OnePlus 6T with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $629, so don't be surprised if this McLaren Edition comes in with a price tag nearing $700.
If today's report is true, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be OnePlus's first smartphone with 10GB of RAM. We've had no complaints about the OnePlus 6T's speed in the time we've spent with the device, but some folks like to have the most specced-out device possible, which can help with future-proofing. One feature that'd really tempt us to upgrade to the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, though, is if it comes in the supercar maker's signature orange color.
