The OnePlus 6T is expected to make its official debut next month, but before it does, we're getting a look at the device from every angle.
Several renders of the OnePlus 6T have been shared by @OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. These are not official images made by OnePlus, but are renders based on factory CADs. The images show a device with a dual rear camera setup much like the OnePlus 6, but with no rear fingerprint reader. That's because the OnePlus 6T will have an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Speaking of the display, another big change from the OnePlus 6 to the OnePlus 6T is the display notch. The notch is much smaller on the OnePlus 6T, dipping slightly into the top of the OnePlus 6T's screen rather than taking up a good portion of it. There is still a chin at the bottom of the OnePlus 6T screen, though.
The OnePlus 6T will reportedly measure in at 157.5 x 75.7 x 8.2mm. To compare, the OnePlus 6 is 155.7 x 75.4 x 7.75mm. Rumors have also suggested that the OP6T will include a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage. One other detail about the OnePlus 6T is that OnePlus has confirmed that its new phone will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Previous OnePlus phones have only been sold unlocked from OnePlus in the U.S., but it's expected that that'll change with the OnePlus 6T, with T-Mobile reportedly signing on to be the exclusive U.S. carrier partner of the OP6T. The new device is said to be launching in October.
So, what do you think of the OnePlus 6T? If this leak becomes reality, will you buy one?
